Djarragun College Campus

Djarragun College is expanding and new buildings are planned and going up all the time. Since our beginnings in 2001 many new facilities have been built and older facilities have been given a new lease of life. For instance, the new dining hall with its ultra modern kitchen freed up the old kitchen to be the Home Economics Centre in 2006; the new Library freed the old library in the demountable building to be converted into two good sized class rooms in 2007. But as the school is still expanding, a new Primary campus is planned for 2008, allowing the Middle School to expand. Meanwhile it is planned that Djarragun College will also be able to run TAFE classes: there is a dedicated Technical Centre with good facilities for carpentry, metal work, car mechanics and hair dressing.

Our aim is to equip all our students with the practical skills that will help them find jobs, start their own businesses and gain independence no matter where they are.
