Djarragun College celebrated the Official Opening of the new Dining Room and the Library complex on 8 May 2008, although the buildings had been in use for a year. The facilities were officially opened by Senator Ursula Stevens and dedicated by Bishop Bill Ray. As usual there were great performances by the Djarragun Aboriginal Dancers and the Torres Strait Islander dancers from the different islands.
